Raleway:
Raleway was designed by Matt McInerney as an elegant sans-serif font with one thin weight. Over time, however. Its features were expanded to encompass nine styles; as a result, this typeface became extremely versatile and suitable for various designs. It pairs particularly well with Kabel which comes from the same designer.
Raleway may make for an attractive display face, but its text performance often falls short. The heavyweights appear too thick for comfortable reading. Its italics have an uncompromising mechanical feel (widths aren’t compensated and rounded glyphs appear misaligned). Furthermore, its the lightest style. Thin appears like it was generated automatically through extrapolation with poor width distribution and overlaps of forms.
One major downside of this font is its poor Cyrillic support. While its Greek support is excellent, its Cyrillic glyphs appear weak. Its developers should have put more thought and consideration into this aspect of design.
This font is free for personal use and available to download from Google Fonts, licensed under SIL’s Open Font License. If you intend on using it commercially, a commercial license from its author should be obtained before using it.
